Premature Ejaculation (PE) is a very common condition where orgasm and ejaculation occurs before it is desired and often with little stimulation. In some cases, ejaculation occurs prior to vaginal penetration.
PE can be embarrassing and a source of incredible psychological stress that can lead to difficulties enjoying sexual intimacy. The study of PE has become more scientific and treatment is available. Treatment involves multiple approaches that include sexual counseling, pelvic biofeedback, physical therapy, education on therapeutic sexual techniques, and medications.
